Nursing jobs are classified as registered nursing/ (RN), licensed practical nursing or licensed vocational nurses (LPN/LVN), and nursing assistant. Registered nurses are professional nurses who supervise the tasks performed by LPNs, and nursing assistants. Hospital, office, and home nursing are the types of full-time nursing jobs. Part time nurses have to work a minimum of twenty hours in a seven-day period and are eligible for prorated salaries and benefits.

Of the different types of nursing jobs, contract nursing is rapidly becoming the favored RN career opportunity. For those who prefer a stable position in one location, full-time nursing job is the right choice. Part-time nursing and travel nursing jobs are best suited for those who enjoy traveling and variety in the work place. Most of these nursing jobs offer competitive pay and free housing.
