A Short And Simple Exercise To Quit Smoking

This is one of the most effective methods to quit smoking with success. It is a method is break habits or cigarette addictions. This method must be practiced over a period of days maybe even weeks. In the starting stages, perform this exercise when you are smoking, but later, perform this exercise only when are about to light a cigarette and not smoked yet.

It is a simple exercise. However you have to consistently practice it as it can be done anywhere in any kind of environment and situation.

In the starting stages, when you are still smoking and while you are doing it, suddenly crush and put out the cigarette on the astray and stop. Stop completely and continue with your errands and other activities.

After a period of time you will probably want to smoke and light the cigarette again. Repeat the previous procedure: stop smoking at once and throw away the cigarettes.

For every time you light a cigarette, repeat the act of throwing away your cigarette. Shorten the time it takes to put out the cigarette every time you light until to the phase of putting out the cigarette without smoking any single puff. Repeat and continue this little exercise until you have stopped smoking.

Give yourself a chance to try this smoking exercise. Test out this method for a week, you've got nothing to lose. The reason for this exercise is to associate positive aspects of being a smoke free person. Also to enhance this exercise, write down all the good things that you will benefit by not smoking.

Try to also find alternatives to smoking, such as chewing gum or by drinking fruit juice. Life can be much more fun when you have the energy you deserve by living a healthier life by not smoking.
